VIVA.VO

Brand naming and Visual Identity design for VIVA.VO a new start up company which provides network solutions.

The company's name came from the first two initials of the owners' names: Vicente, Vasco and team's lady, the lovely Voletta!

For the logotype's symbol design, I used the letter "V". Three "V" letters forming an asterisk, like mouse arrow cursors pointing to center, pointing to success.

Earn IQ

Corporate Visual Identity design for an American - New York based, Loyalty Bonus program company, called Earn IQ.

Playful and colorful but also serious and minimalistic design, with a grid-based approach and care about visual balance and communication between company and clients.

The design includes a full Corporate Identity. Logotype, letterhead for affiliated companies, letterhead for clients, envelopes, business card, merchant's fax order form, membership card with key tag and QR code, brochures, promo flyers and also applying the logo on species such as pen, corporate tag and sign, pins, plastic and paper bags, member's bonus coin, t-shirts, caps and stickers. Furthermore, they were designed the company's website, the smartphones application and the layouts for the company's social media profiles.

Source of Inspiration

The source of inspiration - as in the first version of my logotype - was the initial letters of my name in the Greek alphabet β + μ (βασίλης μαγουλάς) in their lowercase form.
From the beginning I wanted to design a combination between these two letters in a symbol, in which one letter will be the complementary to the other but keeping clearly the shape of both.

"O" Yoga & Pilates Medicine School

Brand Identity design for the "O" Yoga and Pilates Medicine School, in England.

The source of inspiration for the Logo/Symbol design was the letter "O", from the Yoga school name, an abbreviation came from the word "Om" (or Ohm or Aum) which is a mystical Sanskrit sound of Hindu origin, sacred and important in various Dharmic religions, and the classic yoga posture. Three circles tangential to each other, equal thickness forming logo's final version.

Anima Soma

For this Brand Identity, I had to deal with a 15 years old Yoga studio, called "Anima Soma" and refresh its appearance and identity.

The design of the logo was too difficult, because I wanted to be different than the common yoga logos. I wanted the logo to be fresh, original, minimal and have a second thought and deep meaning. After a lot of study on Yoga field and practice books, the source of inspiration for the logotype design was the classic yoga position and the Zen Stones. 3 Zen stones, one above the other to form the the Sukhasana pose which is the classical yoga posture.

For the Anima Soma I designed its corporate stuff, letterhead, envelope, business cards, promotional flyer and the website.
